Previous seasons saw significant improvements to the core design through higher aspect-ratios, reshaped luff curves, and profile-depth adjustments. These changes improved acceleration, reduced rider fatigue, and made the sails feel lighter in the hands.
2023 development continued to focus on further improvement of these key design parameters.
The upper part of the sail is slightly narrower. Luff curves are adjusted to generate a crisper, stiffer sail with a more direct feel. Acceleration is also further improved, and cam rotation is smoother and quicker.

The design was completely revised by removing its three cambers. This allows the sail to rotate more easily in the tacks and gybes. With greater rig control freeride foilers can concentrate on their flight.
Elimination of the cambers resulted in an accumulated weight reduction of 10% for smaller sizes and up to 16% for the larger Skyscape designs.
A higher luff curve makes the sail softer and with a slightly elastic feeling when compared to 2021.

Based on the feedback of a large group of professionals we have added the next level of dacron learner sails to the range. These Dacron HD sails are dedicated to windsurfing schools and centers that teach newcomers to windsurfing.
The rigs are 3D designed on durable recommended RDM Epoxy masts with a correct amount of mast stiffness (IMCS) helping to optimize the performance in both stable and gusty-wind locations. When the sail will be equipped with the recommended mast and boom the total rig weight will be kept to a minimum for the best user experience.

The smaller sizes 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.1 / 5.8 are designed towards Bump & Jump conditions, the larger sizes 6.5 and 7.3 are designed for performance freeride level blasting.
Its relatively low weight makes this sail easy to uphaul. Highly recommended to use in combination with the recommended mast to gain maximum performance: early planing and upper-end control.
